Taylor Swift is donating money to food banks in the cities she visits during her tour. The singer, who is currently on tour in Europe with “The Eras Tour” is donating around €50,000 of the profits obtained to these community centers so that they can continue helping thousands of people in need.
Although the singer does not boast about her donations, there are many beneficiaries who have wanted to thank her publicly. Different banks such as those in Liverpool, Cardiff, Arizona, Nevada or Florida are just some of them.
“We are buying a articulated lorry full of food and other much-needed items to supplement our emergency food parcels” said the chief executive of Cardiff Foodbank. Rich Jones, chief executive of St Andrew’s, which runs 11 food banks, added: "Swift has paid the food bill for 12 months."
The 14-time Grammy winner will continue her tour throughout the summer, traveling through Europe and helping those most in need until the fall, when she will return to North America to end her journey.
