“We told her how proud we are of her” Balvin revealed to E! News this week about the time he and Maluma spent with the pop star. “You know, like she's a part of us and we're in love with her. “No matter what position you are in in music, you have to respect what they have done.”
He added: “I saw her in a very good mood.” Balvin also noted that he would “absolutely” enter the studio with Spears to record a collaboration.
Balvin, who hugs Spears in the photo, responded in the comments: “Oh God hehehehehehehehehehehe I can't get over it.”
Meanwhile, Spears did not immediately recognize the pair of Colombian superstars. In a video from her trip to New York, the 41-year-old pop star shared the photo of herself sitting at a table with two supposed strangers. “Quick trip to New York… I had no idea who these guys at this restaurant were” she captioned the now-deleted post.
“DAMN I just realized,” Britney later captioned a selfie of the trio together. “I can't believe I met these two!!! My God".
