American rapper Eminem, has ended Taylor Swift's three-month streak and landed at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 albums chart with his latest album 'The Death of Slim Shady (Coup de Grace)'.
The American rapper's twelfth EP, which went on sale on July 12, tops the Billboard 200 chart this week after achieving the equivalent of 281,000 sales in the US, including 220 million streams and 114,000 traditional sales, all as digital downloads, according to data shared by The New York Times.
This is the eighth time that Eminem has reached number 1 on the Billboard chart, a streak that ties him with singers of the stature of Bruce Springsteen, Barbra Streisand and rapper Ye. Taylor Swift's album, 'The Tortured Poets Department', released on April 19, fell to fourth place after a spectacular 12-week run at the top of the list.
